Violetta Ruffle Tie Waist Dress

This is the closest thing to a circus tent I've put on my body. I am a size medium. I sized down because I read a review that it ran large. It was extraordinarily large with ridiculous amount of excess material in the skirt. If it wasn't already so short, I would have considered exchanging it for an X-Small but there is no telling how short the smaller size would be. For reference I am 5'1" and it hit me about 3 inches above the knee. Two stars because the material is not terribly cheap and the print is cute, although it is a larger print that it appears in the photo.

I got this in the Sayulita print, richer colors in person. Perfect weight for spring, summer or early fall, will look adorable w sandals or boots. Thinner, floaty fabric, lays lovely. I purchased my usual size so it pulled in at waist more. I am 5’4” and length is perfect, still above knees but not too short.

At 5'6, I was worried about the length on this, but it is just right with flats and will be a great transitional dress for Aug-Oct. It isn't see-through, which was another concern. I've loved all of my Mille pieces. I would buy your normal size unless you are short, in which case you could probably go down a size.
