These sneakers are a great everyday option. They fit true to size with a slightly wider feel, making them very comfortable, especially with thicker socks. The neutral color is super versatile and easy to style with anything. They remind me a bit of my Veja Rio Branco in terms of overall look and wearability. I finally dumped these shoes in the trash. They were so difficult to put on because of the construction. Merrell is too good a company to put out a pair of shoes like these. I have many pairs of Merrell shoes and I love them, but these are horrible. They actually hurt my feet!

Problematic
I found that these run at least a half size small; I am a women’s 6 and the 6 1/2 are ok but a little more toe bed room would be nice. I would not recommend these if you have high arches. I have a small, narrow “ballet foot” and found these nearly impossible to put on. That little loop in the back worked overtime. Once on they feel ok but are snug around the elastic mouth and the top of my foot is sore after a while. I need these for a camping trip so I’m going to keep them, but cut a slit down the tongue.

Great, but size up!
They fit on the small side so I had to size up, but are comfortable. They are difficult to put on because the laces can not be loosened.

Pretty, but NOT EASY SLIP ON/OFF
Described as: "Attached tongue for a secure fit, Updated slip-on style with lacing for easy-on/easy-off".
Not true! They do not slip on or off! I almost gave myself a hernia trying to get my feet in these shoes! I was so looking forward to replacing my old worn out Alpine Sneaker-Multi - Bariole pair for an upcoming trip to Europe. I am so sad these did not work. Returned.
