V-Neck Waist Tie Dress

Good for effortless summer days — if you don’t mind a few wrinkles or some time with the iron. Was too wrinkled upon delivery To wear, but that’s not a fair test; it could well be okay if you grab it out of the dryer and hang it while it is still a little damp. Didn’t think I’d love the elastic across the back waist, but it’s just right with the casual feel and functionality of the design. The fatal flaw for me was that the V-neck was cut too low for me. Runs a touch big. Love the sleeve, which covers a multitude of evils but still looks cool. Little too much differential between front and back of hi-low hem for my taste.

This linen and Cotten blend dress will be my favorite to grab on hot summer days. I bought the red color and it arrived and wasn’t nearly as “red” as I had expected. It has a little gray/blue woven into it. It arrived quite stiff, but after I washed, line-dried then pressed it, it’s smooth and ready to wear. I wasn’t expecting the elastic waist at the back but, since many from this brand have that, I should have known. The V neck doesn’t dip daringly low, so this is Zoom-work worthy as well. I absolutely love that it’s a bit longer in the back.
