get a size up
While I like the style of this dress, I would suggest you get a size up if you have larger bust. I usually wear medium (8-10) but had to get a large (12-14) as the space between the buttons looked too stretched out in medium dress. Try before buying it.

sizing issue for bust...
So, I'm a size LARGE and super fan of Max Studio Dresses - I have 5 others. Fell in love with this style reminds me of English country side....style - I wanted something dressy that's also an everyday dress. with pockets...It fits fine except the top part. I can barely button the top three....without a huge gap. I think the sizing is off on this batch.
