Floral Smocked Maxi Dress

I actually bought xsmall and small cause although Max Studio dresses fit me well, I’m always a different size depending on the style. In this dress I actually fit the small and it was almost too small. I’m 5’4” and 115 pounds. I like the length, but I do with they would make this in a shorter cut as well. If it goes on sale I’ll buy another one and sew it shorter!

Bought this dress in the red/cream chainmail geometric print. Very pretty in person. Nice material that washed well and dried soft without wrinkles (I air dried it). Did not shrink. Fits true to size. Chest area is not revealing which is nice and it sits well at my natural waist. I will say there do seem to be some weird stitching issues i.e. loose strings that I'm trying to prevent from running mostly found on the hemmed bottom and certain areas where there is elastic. I can totally deal with that for how cheap I got this thing! I chose to wear a lightweight rayon slip dress underneath but I think nude underwear would be fine too.
