Dorsey Wool Blend Car Coat

I bought this for our son for his birthday in Charcoal and he really likes it. He's just over 6', wears a 38 in slacks. I bought him an XL for room to layer. *I* really liked this coat for a few reasons... the outer pockets snap closed, the inner layer for warmth (that zips underneath the buttons) is a great touch, and its simple design. I like it enough to get my husband one in another color!

I really wanted to like this coat, but couldn't get past the fit problems. I normally wear a size Medium and that's the size I purchased. The fit through the shoulders, chest, and body is generous. I tried the coat on with a T-shirt under a long-sleeved button-down shirt and there was plenty of room to add additional layers. In fact, there was so much extra room that I considered exchanging for a size Small. Unfortunately, the sleeves in this coat are VERY narrow! I don't have huge arms and the sleeves felt a bit tight, especially at the wrist! Keep in mind: I have tiny (6.5") wrists so anyone with bigger arms may find this coat frustrating to pull on and off. You can forget about wearing it over a sport coat or blazer! That's a shame because the coat is well made and surprisingly warm.

I purchased this coat a month before I wore it. I bought it because was going on vacation but, Ever since I got this jacket last December , it stays covered with lint. I've tried using a lints rollers to clean it, which didn’t work. But after 1-2 wears it is covered. I would’ve return the coat, but was unable to because the timeframe had passed.

’ve only owned this jacket for about two months, and it’s already starting to pill and collect lint. This is disappointing given how new it is, and it makes the jacket look worn much sooner than expected. While it’s still comfortable and functional, the fabric quality doesn’t seem durable, and it now requires frequent lint removal to look presentable.
