Vanlisa Chelsea Boot (Women)

I loved the great quality, supple leather on these shoes. The boots were also very comfortable. It was odd how slippery the inside of the shoes was -- I put them on the first time and my foot slide everywhere! I am usually a size 9, but when I tried on both, the 8.5 actually fit better. So, they seem to run about a half-size large. I loved that the boots didn't look ginormous and bulky like other boots can. The upper was rather slim-profile while feeling substantial and good. The deal breaker for me was the heel -- though comfortable, the actual heel on these otherwise slim-profile boots was huge and overly-bulky. Looking at them in the mirror from the back I was shocked at how 90's huge and clunky they looked. That detail would continue to bug me so I decided to return.

I really love these boots and wear them often. They are super cute and I receive tons of compliments. Some things to note: 1) they run TTS, even slightly big 2) they are a bit heavy and clunky 3) the heel is high. I love the non-slip lug sole, but it does add clunkiness. I do not have problems walking in them though, which is why I kept them.
