This dress has a very comfortable and flattering cut; you can let your gut out and the fabric is stretchy! The fabric is very rough and unpleasant to the touch though; to the point my inner arms around the elbow are red and irritated just from trying it on for a couple of minutes while I walked in it. The fabric was a serious misstep. The cut out at the hem is also much smaller on the dress I got, only going up about 4 inches. I think it's true to size. It mostly covers my bra, you can see a teeny bit peeking in my armpit area. The arm holes are not too big even though I got the 16. I am still considering keeping it since it's a super versatile dress and would be great for a surprise funeral, but the fabric is really a let down. I have an hourglass figure (38G bust) and the top and hips fit fine.
