Fit like a glove

I’ve tried madewell jeans in the past, but the fits didn’t quite work for me. I decided to give them another go with these and was surprised to find they fit so perfectly. They’re a slim-straight style that I find extremely flattering. They are slimming while elongating my legs. This style is versatile too and can be worn with both loose and tight fitting tops. The wash color is a really nice medium-dark color. Definitely going to keep a lookout for more colors! I’m usually a 24 or 25 (sometimes 26) and got these in a 24.

Runs small

I’ve gotten Madewell jeans before in the same size and the were perfect. These ones fit like a size 23.

really are PERFECT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] these jeans are called the perfect vintage for a reason - they are PERFECT. i have 5 colors at this point and they continue to be the most comfortable, soft, best looking jeans i have ever worn. seriously i can sit in these on the couch and they are comfortable.

Jeans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for christmas in my usual size and it was the first time I'd felt like my jeans were a little too small. Maybe it's the style of the jean but they felt generally more snug than I anticipated based on pictures and on my other pairs of madewell jeans. Other than that they are classic basics.

Really stiff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybe I should've gone with my usual size instead of sizing down like how I generally have to do with Madewell jeans. I love the color, but the fabric is so stiff that it's really uncomfortable to sit down while wearing these, and it's such a shame

Inconsistent sizing

I wish Madewell’s sizing wasn’t so inconsistent. They typically offer vanity sizes so I am a 24 in Madewell jeans (but a 25 or even 26 in other brands). There have been a couple of times when 24 was too small and I had to size up to 25. I got these in 24 based on the reviews that they were TTS but they are a bit tight and I cannot return them since they are final sale. Disappointed.

True to Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These jeans are pretty rigid with not much stretch, which I wasn't crazy about. I think I thought they would have a slightly wider leg (like the Vintage Straight) so I was a little disappointed in that. Aside from that, they were true to size. I ordered a 23. My weight fluctuates between 105-110 and I am 5'3. The length was perfect and they fit pretty well in the waist (if anything maybe just a little too tight, but nothing super uncomfortable).

NIce fitting straight ankle jeans

Really like that these a a basic straight ankle jean. Look great with flats and ankle boots. They do not have a lot of stretch to them so recommend getting a size bigger than normal.

Love these!

Really happy with these jeans! I’m 5’5 & 125lbs- I usually wear a pant size of 2 / 26W. Most jeans are way too long on me, but these hit right at the top of my foot. Not a lot of stretch to them, but they definitely fit true to size.
