Small Transport Leather Crossbody Tote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently came across this color of my favorite bag and was super excited - my entire wardrobe is black and olive green so I thought this would be a great addition. However - the online photos of the muted olive and what i received were no where near the same bag. The pretty dark green hue arrived and was very light pea green - almost yellow. I am obsessed with this bag and am so sad that Madewell discontinued the transport line. The quality and simple style with a zip top (required for commuting) is unmatched. I have the medium ziptop tote in black and saddle - and I have this bag in saddle and purchased black off of ebay (as a result of really wanting another color and being so disappointed with this purchase).

It’s a best purchase for every day errands. I bought two, in different color in this similar size. This size is not too big or too small, but a perfect size to carry around all your needs for every day. However, I disliked this OLIVE color which is completely off from the one shown in picture. It’s very very light pistachios color or color of the light grass. It’s not a good color for fall! May be ok for spring time. Over all best manufactured leather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been eyeing this bag for awhile and waiting for it to go on sale. I finally bought it over Labor Day weekend and I'm considering returning it. I know that color varies across devices and leather goods have natural variation, but photos online made this bag appear to be a dark olive and what I got looks more like, I don't know, sickly pea green? The color I perceived online is what I liked most about the bag. Also, I wish it had an exterior pocket. It still appears to be a quality bag and I haven't fully unwrapped it yet just in case I do decide to return it. I hope it grows on me because I hate messing with returns, but the color representation is such a disappointment!
