Love!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought a second pair! I wear these pants all the time. As a plus size lady they are so flattering and they look great with boots. I’m truly obsessed. I’d say in other stores I’m 24w but I purchased 26w here and they are perfect!

Low rise, runs small
I purchased a size 26 when I wear a 24 or 26 in most brands. The jeans seem to be a nice color and quality finish, but unfortunately the fit was way off.
They fit in the legs, but the rise is really low and there was no way I could zip these. They were much too small.
I’m 5’7” with a long torso. Perhaps these would be a good option for a petite wearer/someone who needs a short rise in the jeans.
I will be returning.

SIZING HAS CHANGED
I have to agree with others about Madewell's new plus sizing. It's so frustrating because I no longer can find a fit that works for me. I had a pair of the vintage jeans for a couple years that were the absolute perfect jean- they fit me perfectly and I was obsessed with them. I wore them out so I ordered these and the fit is totally off. I can no longer find my size. I was a solid 34. Now the "regular" sizing stops at 33- so I would think I would be a 14W. Nope- couldn't even get them past my thighs. They were so small I assumed a 16W wouldn't work either so I tried an 18W and they're too baggy. I'm done ordering and having to return. Please go back to the old sizing!

The Perfect Dark Denim
I absolutely love these jeans! I will say that I usually size up in the perfect vintage due to lack of stretch but these felt much stretchier than the usual perfect vintage fit. Super comfortable and the perfect trendy jean for fall/winter.

Great Jeans
Luckily I was able to get a pair of these when they were first available. I had a hard time figuring out what size to order, because based on this size chart, all the sizes would be too small. I was able to find and old size chart so I could figure out what size to buy based on my old Madewell jeans, and figured a size 20W would work. I was nervous that they were going to be too small, but was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They were a bit snug, but after a few wears, they are perfect. I am excited for some different washes to be released.
