Denim Utility Romper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wanting a simple romper for some time but never found the right one. This one fits the bill, it’s very comfortable and the fabric is not heavy which works for summer. I tried both M and L size and decided to stick to my usual size L, the crotch is drapey like other have pointed out but I think it looks cute and it’s part of what makes it so comfortable. Definitely worth the sale price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The denim is very soft, but still nicely structured. It is a great color and I ended up sizing down since it looked like it would be more of an oversized fit. Despite having hips and being concerned that the XS would be too tight (normally 27/28 in madewell pants), it was still comfortable. I also have a longer torso and could see the shorts of the romper being too long and looking less flattering had I sized up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to add my review for sizing help- don’t size down with this! I’m generally an xs but sometimes need to size down for Madewell to xxs (especially with rompers) but this would be hard to get on in the xxs. It does have a bit of a dropped crop as another reviewer mentions but I think it looks cute. You can also cinch the waist tighter with buttons at the side.

I thought this would be super cute considering I have similarly shaped/cut jumpsuits that I love. The shorts on this were a really frumpy mid-thigh length with a long crotch and unflattering backside. They were super baggy in the front crotch area. Top half was adorable. It is a heavy denim, soft, but definitely denim, so I wouldn't recommend wearing this in very hot weather. I found the zipper didn't go down as far as it probably should to allow easier on/off for restroom breaks.
