April Floral Chiffon Fit & Flare Midi Dress

I’ve tried a couple of lulus dresses in the past but returned them because they were poor quality. I gave this one a try though because I was drawn to the print and it was on sale. I love it! It fits beautifully and the quality is better than past Lulus dresses I’ve tried. It just needs a safety pin on the chest where the fabric crosses to avoid falling open, which is not a big deal to me because it’s so easy to hide the pin since the chest is fully lined. It runs slightly small.

The fabric is absolutely stunning. The sizing is perfect. But this dress falls just short on so many levels. The shoulders don’t stay up and aren’t tight enough to be off the shoulder. The bodice is not structured enough so it falls a bit and the chest is loose so one move and your girls are out, or in my case, my bra was out for everyone. So close but I will have to do a second round of alterations to make it wearable.
