Gauze Tiered Trapeze Midi Dress

I recently purchased this dress to try for family photos and to hold onto for a few years down the line when I plan to be pregnant. I get that trapeze dresses are meant to be very loose, but I got this in my standard size 8, and it was massive and not flattering. I think if you're petite and can pull off really loose clothes it could work, but I had to return because it made me look bigger than I am.
