What it does: It protects against external aggressors to keep skin comfortable all day long. It's made from shea butter produced using traditional methods in Burkina Faso, which leaves the shea butter particularly rich in Omega-6 and karitene. These molecules have exceptional properties and help to moisturize, nourish and give extra protection to skin.

Lovely light face cream
I love this, and prefer it to the heavier face cream, because it is a lighter product and goes on so smoothly. I've given up on one of my favorites, the body cream, which is a much heavier cream, perfect for body, but now with a different smell that's very off-putting.
But so far, this cream is the usual, perfect, stuff.

Comforting cream that truly comforts
For at-home use (which is most of the time!), this light comforting cream has replaced all my other (creamier, heavier) moisturizers. Whenever my face feels even a little bit dry, I apply this cream for immediate comfort. The texture and scent are exquisite, and my skin instantly feels softer, smoother, younger. I always buy extras so I never run out. I hope that L'Occitane will never, ever decide to discontinue or even reformulate this product. It's just about perfect, exactly as it is.

Not sure what it is about this cream, but it smells European to me! Maybe it's the Provence aspect, or the shea butter; either way it makes me feel like I'm indulging every time I use it! I put it on in the morning, and it makes me feel so fresh. It's creamy, goes on smooth, feels light, and keeps me moisturized; my skin loves it.
