Believe the Tags
The tags say that this item has a dye that can come off on your clothing. It’s absolutely correct! It recommended washing prior to wearing. I did wash the item in cold water. It turned the water blue. I had to clean out my washing machine. I soaked the jacket in cold water prior to washing again. I’m very concerned about wearing it with light colored pants and shirts. I may return the jacket due to the transfer of dye onto my clothing. My decision will be based on what happens after the second washing in cold water.
