'Lucky' Turkish Pestemal Towel

I should have returned this - too thin to be called a towel. There is no absorption and it's too short.

I would rather use this as a table cloth than a beach towel. It’s nice but it’s thin. It will be used, but probably not for it’s intended purpose.

I have no clue who would have ever paid full price for these "towels", but even at what I paid they're horrible. A paper towel has more thickness. Don't waste your money on these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice Turkish towel pretty blue color makes me think of santorini I will use it more as a shawl than a towel though due to its very light texture don’t know how much moisture this can take also as other reviewers have said where is the evil eye charm that supposedly comes with it they show it in various pictures

They are thinner and much less soft than other Turkish Pesternals I have purchased--stiff and more like a tablecloth. I am hoping they soften upon washing so that they look better tossed over a chair, etc. I purchased them in aqua and the color is nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While these great quality towels provide a sophisticated everyday use comfort and unexpected travel flexibility in the age of super compact travel, I feel that the price level at Nordstrom is unreasonably high. One can easily find 1/3 price alternatives elsewhere. For this reason, I took one star off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two of these Linum Pestemal towels to use in our home as an alternative to the thick, terrycloth, towels that simply don't dry in my bathroom in the summer. I washed and dried these towels twice before using them. They do feel different from a terrycloth towel - it's sort of like drying off with a sheet - but it's kind of awesome. I actually felt like they dried me off faster, and the best part is that the Pestemal towels dry quicker in my summer bathroom humidity. Plus they don't take up as much space in our washing machine. Glad I got to save a little money by purchasing them in the Anniversary sale.
