What it is: A full-coverage, ultra-conditioning formula that delivers high-intensity, magical color results.
Who it's for: Ideal for those with pre-bleached platinum-to-medium blonde hair, though adds a tint of color to dark blonde and light brown hair.
What it does: Vibrant, bold, dark shades deliver DIY-friendly, damage-free color that works gently, washes out gradually and fades gracefully.
How to use: For best results, begin with clean, unconditioned, dry hair. Wear protective gloves and pour desired amount into a bowl. Section hair into four even sections and secure with clips. Working in one-inch wide strips, apply color evenly from root to tip with an applicator brush. Begin at the root of the hair, applying color evenly through to ends. Massage each strand with your fingers, root to tip, to ensure even distribution of color. Leave the color in for 30 minutes. For more intense, longer-lasting results, leave in for 1–2 hours. It won't damage hair as it does not contain any harsh chemicals or bleach. Rinse hair in cool-to-lukewarm water until your hair feels clean. More intense shades may not rinse clear for the first few washes. Do not shampoo. Conditioner is optional.

Received wrong color & product did not work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this product. I ordered dirty mermaid which is a gorgeous midnight teal. I started applying it and noticed it was a very grayish blue, I checked the bottle and the bottle was the color "On Mute" packaged in a "Dirty Mermaid" box. Oh well nothing I could do about it it was already on half of my hair. The directions say leave on for 30 min but for better intensity you can leave on for 1-2 hours. I left it on for about 1:15 and as soon as I rinsed my hair I could tell the color did not stick. Although I deeply saturated the entire section I was doing it was patchy, did not provide full coverage and was not true to color.

I like it! Great semi permanent that conditions
This stuff exceeded my expectations. I have used orange semipermanent color frequently on my highlighted portions of my hair to keep a redhead look (I have to dye my roots darker brown/red with permanent color to cover my gray/white hair, so I add the vibrant semipermanent to balance that out). This semipermanent is better than others I’ve tried because of the smell (much better!), the texture (this is more of a creamy/gooey consistency rather than a thin gel or liquid, which diminishes the potential for a mess and makes application easier, and the conditioning quality (it leaves your hair feeling healthier rather than damaged). I wish there was a yellow in this coverage level. (Like Tweet in the tint level.) This color is slightly more cool than I wanted (my hair looks a little more red and less orange than I was hoping, but it’s not bad. I hope the color lasts! Worth the money! I used about 3/4 of the jar for shoulder length thinner hair and kept it on about 1 hour.

Beautiful color that lasted longer than expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this hoping to buy some extra time between salon dye jobs. When I tried this, it had been six weeks since I'd visited my colorist, and in addition to roots showing, I also had some gray that I wanted to color. I'm naturally mousy brown, dyed auburn with cool undertones. I was BEYOND THRILLED with my results. For about 9 days, I got really saturated, even color -- I used Valentine and it took my hair to an almost magenta color. At this writing, it's been two weeks and I still have a decent amount of color, including pretty good gray coverage. My hair feels shiny, full and soft, this did not damage or strip the moisure out of my hair. Not knowing what to expect, I am really happy with the results.
Also: I left this in my hair for the full two hours. I have long hair, probably 4 or 5 inches past my shoulder, and I still only used half a tub.
