old school!
Big fan of 501s from way back, these remind me of the ones I wore in high school in the late 80’s. I ordered 2 sizes up (29) because they have some give, but no stretch. Probably could have done a 28, but I’m happy with them. I’m 5’3, and they are full length, I cuff them for ankle length. Super cute !

Tight in waist
I loved the way these fit, except in the waist, which was super high for me and tight. I usually wear a size 30, but I would go up a size in these had they not been so perfect everywhere else. I really loved, loved, loved the subtly dappled dark wash and the weight of the fabric. And they fit everywhere but the waist and rise. Sadly, they are going back.

The color was nice but the shape was really odd. I found them too high in the waist and there was a lot of weird space in the booty, like a tenting effect where the butt cheeks meet the back of the thigh.
