I have many 100% cotton jeans, I purchased my regular size and it runs small. I could not button them at all.

very small
I have other Levi’s 100% cotton rigid jeans but a different style and these run very small in comparison. I’d estimate about 2 sizes too small. The wash and details are perfection though.

True to *actual* size, odd wash
These are rigid button-fly jeans (old school!). If you are used to downsizing slightly for a snug fit in stretchy jeans, that isn't going to work for these. Check your waist measurements against the size chart. You might want to size up from your usual size in other jeans. I like the traditional feel, fit, and heavier denim -- but a mid-rise would probably be better in this style. The wash color does not read 'green' at all. it's an odd denim blue with a faint yellow tinge to it. Keeping, but would not buy again in this wash.
