Wayne Crop Denim Double Breasted Jacket

Because this jacket is meant to be worn open (no buttons or other form ofclosure), it unfortunately wasn’t a good fit for me. The jacket naturally falls open when not standing still and in normal wearing and movements, and both sides of the front end up on the outer sides of my 34D chest. I usually wear a medium but the large fit better in sleeves and across my back. The only way get the front to stay put would be to use some sort of “sweater clip” (a la 1960’s) which would not be in keeping with the style of this jacket. So sorry it just didn’t work for me, I returned it. It was a comfortable fabric with nice stretch.

This color is so beautiful and the slight distressing counterbalances the more formal interpretation of the jeans jacket. The cut is super flattering to the waistline and the light shoulder pads provide structure and balance. Slight stretch makes it super comfortable. The buttons are beautiful! The jacket does run small and the sleeves are narrow which is ok for me as I have slimmer arms but may not work for everyone. The sleeves are longer on me than in the photos. Definitely size up. I wore mine last night to a winery event. I wore a white tee, black wide leg pants and black high heeled Eileen Fisher sandals. I got a TON of compliments!! I will buy another one in another color I like the cut so much.
