Absolutely amazing! I got so many compliments, including several “you have best dress out of everyone”. I wore it to a formal work Gala. I agree with the other reviews that it definitely runs small. I’m a size 8 and I got a size 12 based on the other reviews. The size 12 fit me perfectly. One comment to Nordstroms directly: Do better with how you ship people their merchandise. The dress was crumpled up in a plastic bag. Then when I went to Nordstroms in Montgomery Mall in Maryland, they did a TERRIBLE job steaming it. I expect better service, especially for a $500 dress.
But back to the dress…simply AMAZING! I highly recommend.

Not a good fit
I ordered 2 sizes up. Although it fits when zipped it is nearly impossible to zip up, even with help. Runs extremely long and this is not the dress you want to spend money on hemming $$$$. I doubt I will ever order another La Femme dress

Pretty, runs on smaller side
The dress is really pretty. The arms are tight so it makes lifting your arms for dancing a little tough. I wore a different dress by this designer for another event & had to get a 00, but for this dress I had to get a 4. I'm 5'8" and 135 lbs, athlete build for reference.

runs VERY VERY SMALL
I am normally a size 00, and I couldn't zip this dress at all. I don't even think the next size up would fit, maybe have to go 2 sizes up. It's a pretty dress, but something about the black tulle looks a little too halloween and less ballroom than I had envisioned.

Beautiful fabric, top has great structure. Well made and very expensive looking. The tulle is very soft and not too stiff. But sooooo small. I wear an 8 but ordered a 12, fits good on waist and chest but the shoulders are super narrow and I couldn’t zip the last inch. Sad because I really liked it.

Who is this dress made for?
It's gorgeous but I can't figure out who fits in it. I am 5/2, 105lbs and I ordered a 0 and it's at least 10 inches too long and I could not zip this dress to save my life. I'm a 32C and there was at least a 6 inch gap to pull the two sides of the zipper together.
