West City Dry^™ Waterproof Leather Knee High Boot (Women)

To say that I was disappointed with these boots would be an understatement. Just a terrible design with so many flaws! Perhaps the leather version is better even though I doubt it. The suede is just awful. To start, I had a hard time even trying them on bc the shaft of the boot is not as pictured at all. It is very narrow, flimsy, made of thin, cheap suede with absolutely no shape & given the fact that the boot only has a small inner zipper, it made it so very difficult to get past an terribly rough, thick yet narrow heel part of the boot. To clarify, the size was not the problem but the actual construction of the boot. Once I was able to slide my foot in, as opposed to the shaft, the footbed is extremely hard, with zero flexibility, tremendous looking yet quite narrow on inside weirdly enough. It felt as though my foot was sitting in a cemented block. As I said, the inside width feels narrow yet the toe box is enormous & very hard, same as the heel. Let me make it clear, there is absolutely NO cushioning whatsoever, just hard surface quite literally. I understood these were lug sole but that doesn’t necessarily mean the boot is heavy & uncomfortable. When I said that the “design” of the boot was awful is due to the fact that the footbed is so very large & heavy yet the shaft of the boot is narrow & so very thin? They just looked ridiculous! And even worse, as soon as I made a few steps, even though the shaft is narrow, due to the it being so thin & flimsy, it started rolling down, puckering at the part where the inner zipper is, the area that should’ve been done far more seamlessly. For the price, I expected better. Needless to say, I immediately returned them! By far, one of the worst boot designs I’ve come across in all the years!
