Terrible lip balm
This formula made my lips drier with each use. The texture was not good and not effective. I ended up throwing them all away.

Formula was changed for the worst.
Some time in 2024 the lip balm formula was changed and it is now practically useless as a lip balm. It lasts for a minute or two in the lips and doesn’t moisturize at all. Would not recommend.

Change in formula makes this worst lip balm ever
This new formula of Kiehl's lip balm #1 is so astoundingly bad I don't even know where to begin. It's drying to the lips, thin and oily and yet not moisturizing, and downright irritating. I'm a long-time Kiehl's customer and used this lip balm for years - I can't understand why Kiehl's would change its formula other than out of some inane wish to conform to influencer-promoted unscientific concepts of "clean beauty" (I assume this is the rationale for changing formulas of best-selling items for no apparent reason). Try L'Occitane lip balms instead - they haven't yet succumbed to this mania.

They changed the formula. It dries out your lips within a few minutes. They're trying to make it vegan, but they made it cheaply. I've used this regularly for 20+ years. No more.
