Fantastic carrier! Kept our kitten safe and calm
This was a huge win for our family. I bought this for our 4-month-old kitten, and honestly, the price alone makes it a 5-star value. A $175 carrier for under $60 is an amazing deal.
We just tested it out on a walk around the neighborhood. We even took him into Starbucks for a pupcup and he was perfectly calm and just loved looking around.
The best part, though, is how my 8-year-old son feels about it. He can be a nervous guy, but he feels so confident carrying the cat in this. He knows the kitten is totally secure, especially with the little leash hook inside that clips to his collar. The backpack itself feels sturdy, not flimsy.
It's a fantastic way for us to get the cat out of the apartment safely. Highly recommend!

Love this backpack, so many compliments
This backpack has it all: its comfortable, secure, easy to clean, durable, and stylish.
I have used this for travel on trains, planes, busses, and I’ve even worn it while cycling. I've used it so far in 4 countries. The boards in the backpack are strong and non-warping. You can put a surprising amount of things in the pockets, and the inside padding can be unzipped to remove the boards for washing. The only reason I’m on this page is to track down a new one, since the side pockets have started to get holes after I caught them on branches and other things during my travels. I’ve had this backpack for three years, and it’s still beautiful, and everyone still wants one when they see my Riley enjoying hers. She loves it by the way. Gets in it enthusiastically, and moves her bum to the opposite side so I can zip it closed.
It has a luggage strap, so Riley feels very satisfied perched atop my carry-on, lounging her way through airport shops and restaurants. When visiting new or loud places, she sees the bag as her safe place that she can retreat to if she feels overwhelmed. When we go cycling, I clip her in with the safety strap and leave the back window unzipped so she can stick her head out and enjoy having her ears flapping in the wind. This backpack is a joy. I’ve seen other backpacks online that appear to have a similar shape and sturdy design, but this one is stylish without compromising anything, and that is difficult to find.
The ONLY thing I would caution people about is that when you close the zippers, zip them to the top of the bag, not the bottom of the bag. Mainly because you cannot see the zipper down there unless you turn the bag over, and you might not realize you left it partially open. With the weight of the pet and a lot of moving about, they MIGHT start to slide open if you didn't fully close it. I don't think it's a defect with the bag or the zipper. I have not had this issue when zipping to the top, the zippers stay closed. So it’s easy to avoid that problem.
