Raquel Pointed Toe Slingback Pump (Women)

Love these. Was on the fence, but very glad I got them - the snakeskin has a neutrality to it that works great with many outfits. I am typically not a fan of sling back, but the Mary Jane style straps in the front not only made it more secure, they are cute and on trend. I’m typically between an 8-8.5 and got the 8.5, which were perfect. No squeezing on the pinky toe. No overhang on the heel but not too loose either. No break-in period.

I ordered this shoe in the Black Leather, size 8, which is my typical size for pumps. The leather is so soft! And while it doesn’t seem like there is much material between the ball of your foot and the ground, it’s comfortable. I wore these out one night to dinner to break them in, and we ended up going to two bars, playing pool and darts, so I was on my feet for hours…no pain. No wishing I hadn’t picked that night to try out my new shoes. There was no break-in needed. I’m back online now deciding if I want the red patent or the snakeskin, or both.
