Rosemarie Floral Cocktail Dress

I bought this to wear as a wedding guest and was a little disappointed by it. Maybe my expectations were off at this price point, but the fabric just wasn't as rich as I expected. Colors not nearly as saturated as pictured - the pink was not nearly as vibrant and the brown was almost unnoticeable. It also didn't quite lay right. The way the fabric is draped at the waist/hips and pockets awkwardly in the front adda too much bulk and with this weight of fabric there is just too much of it, so it sticks out too much. I have a flat stomach, but it made me look like I have a belly. Outside of that, and I'm not taking this into consideration for my rating, it felt too matronly for me. I'm 42 and felt like this is more appropriate for a woman in her 50s-70s - it would be absolutely stunning. Maybe well-suited for a mother of the bride, too. I am a size 4 and went up to a 6. It was still a little snug at the tight part of the waist (and this is where I'm smallest/usually have to get things taken in), but then got big where the skirt began.
