This is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it still a usable size. Not big enough to be a work bag, however. I paired it with a Kate Spade wallet in a darker berry available at Nord Rack and it looks very polished and classy. You will have to remove a lot of packaging from it - wrappings, inserts, etc., but if you this you will find the security tag (small, white, rectangular) in a pocket. Throw that out - it will set off alarms in any store.

Love the Kate Spade purse. However the security button was not deactivated. Must be buried somewhere inside the purse. Set off the alarm at Lowes. The ladies at the return desk stated that I was the second person that day with a Kate Spade purse to set off their alarm. They deactivated the security button.
