- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down completely. Remove the lid from the milk pitcher and the milk pitcher from the base. The milk pitcher and the lid can be cleaned under running warm water or in a dishwasher if required. The base can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Note: Never immerse the base and the power cord under water or any other liquid. The heating plate at the center of the base can change color if milk spills onto it. You can use a damp cloth with vinegar solution or baking soda to scrub it off. Once dry, store away in a cool and dry place.
