Couldn't wear them, sent them back
I was never even able to get them on my feet: even with every ounce of my strength, I could not force my feet through the small ankle holes. The shoes were big enough (9 1/2 which I always wear) but the ankle holes were too small. I've been wearing Merrells for 35 years, and I'm disappointed with the gradual decrease in quality over the last several decades. Most of my favorite models (like the ventilated mocs - I don't like laces and my feet tend to sweat) have been discontinued, and the newer shoes aren't as comfortable as the ones from the 1990s.

Great fit and features!
Love these! The sleeve around the opening does make it harder to get on but it's totally worth it! I love the color combination of the dark cherry and the brown. Please do this again and again. Inventive color combination and overall great fit and comfort.

Look Cool
Its a great design, and the mesh provides a bit of air into the feet. My only gripe is that its a bit difficult to squeeze the foot in initially and it hasnt gotten much easier over time, I'd imagine someone with thicker or wider ankles than me might really struggle.

The shoes are great once you get them on. They are VERY hard to get on. The opening is small and does not stretch to allow entry .

Love These Shoes!
Purchased these shoes during the Black Friday sale. Love them! I have purchased several pairs of Merrill shoes over the years, and l'm always pleased with the fit, comfort, and workmanship. I agree the opening could be a little wider for this particular style, but for me, the extra little effort to put them on is totally worth it. They are so comfortable and are very attractive! Highly recommend!!
