Elodie Floral One-Shoulder Cotton Blend Gown

In search of the perfect gown for my son’s early October wedding I ordered this gown and was surprised at the fit and feel! This gown is beautiful and super lightweight which is a huge plus for an early fall wedding in Ohio. The material has a beautiful flower detail and much prettier in person than pictures online. Definitely a rich navy color and the chiffon scarf lays beautifully off the shoulder. I am typically a size 4 but ordered the 2 and it fit really nicely although it obviously needs to be taken up since I’m 5’ 1” and these gown are all made for 6+ foot models! This gown was a finalist for me - really different than most of what you find online and it definitely doesn’t look like it could be mistaken for. bridesmaid gown which some do. My son and husband had the final say so I did go with another gown ultimately. But I do highly recommend this gown for any MOG or MOB .

Wore this dress for my daughter’s June wedding after trying 10 different dresses and couldn’t be happier with the result. Initially I did not want a bare shoulder ay my age, but the chiffon drape created a soft look. The lace is subtle as it is the same color as the fabric underneath - a dusty pink, a bit darker than image. Very comfortable to wear and no slip required. I did have to have the top taken in at the side zipper for my 5’4, 118 lb frame (size 2).
