Daphne Embroidered Sequin Column Gown

This is a lovely gown, with a slim fit. The sleeves are a bit flouncy and do reach the elbows. I agree with the reviews that it runs a little large; but depending on your personal fit decide whether to size down. I'm usually an 8 and the 6 fit perfectly. MY complaint is the color description as Blush Multi. I would call the color either Dusty Rose or Mauve. I also did not realize there was so much beading. All the leaves are sequins I am returning the gown due to the color only, as the color is too winterish for my early summer formal event.

I returned this dress for many reasons. The first being as soon as I opened the box, the dress was a lot darker pink, than “blush”. It’s not even a pretty pink, it’s mauve. The dress just hung on me and did nothing. The sleeves look like bat wings and overall, the dress reminded me of a kimono.

I've rarely seen a color that's more washed out and blah. Fabric seems OK & the gown is constructed well enough, but as soon as I tried on this dress, I felt & looked 40 years older. I do think the color might work well on a dark-skinned person, but even then, the styling was more matronly than I expected (mom at wedding). Returned.

Ordered a size 14, runs large. I normally am between 12 & 14. Length is perfect for my height 5’7” ,wirght 150 lbs . For JS collection I wear 14 and it’s comfortable. This dress runs large, it’s almost 2inches overall larger. Material is lightweight and well sewn. Ordering a size 12 to compare fit.

This dress was perfect for my son's spring. At the time of purchase I was consistently wearing size 10. I tried on an 8 in store and it fit well, with exception of bust area (I am small busted), so I ordered the Blush Multi in size 8. My seamstress sewed darts at the top of shoulders which created a much better fit. By the time of the wedding I had lost about 7 lbs. and the dress still fit well. The true color of the dress is a bit more light berry than the light blush shown. However, the wedding was held outside on a sunny day and the dress photographed as light blush.
