JOURNEE Trayle Wedge Sandal (Women)

I ordered the brown and the wine color. I could not decide which color I would get more wear from without seeing them in person. The wine is a very deep, rich, ox- blood color. If you don’t look closely, you might assume it was a really dark brown, so it will go with anything and everything the brown shoes would go with too. The brown is actually lighter in color than the wine. It is more of a dustier color, not so deep and rich like the wine. I returned the brown and kept the wine. I have only tried them on around the house. I have not worn them all day yet, as it is not the season for sandals at the moment. (Dec) I know I will have to get used to the piece that wraps around the ankle part of the foot. You definitely don’t want to go too small with your size as that piece may be too small/tight around the ankle. I can now understand why some people who ordered these shoes had to send them back if their ankles are larger in circumference. They feel great on my feet, and I don’t feel like I will slide down on a bare floor since the bottoms are flexible and rubber not slick. They seem to have a little more arch and comfort than most flat sandals. There is a heel on the sandal, which I also really like. It is not super flat, but it is not a wedge either. To me, this makes the sandal easy to dress up or dress down. Very versatile. Can’t wait for spring and summer!
