Threads & Sticky Sale Tags
Strings, threads & sticky stickers were a problem out of the box for this soft suede boot. Strings and threads had to be cut off as they laid in the path of the zipper and everyone knows that is a sure-fire way to get a zipper stuck and ruin your boot. These may have been seconds. They fit well and the black suede looks classy. I like the J.S. brand on the heel. The biggest grip I have has nothing to do with the boot but the very sticky hard to remove Nordstrom tag inside the boot at the heel on both boots. One tag was placed right on the inside seam, had to pick at it with a tweezers to get it out. The stickers came out in pieces, not one smooth peal off of the entire tag and left a sticky film that would stick to a person’s heel if not removed. I had to very carefully remove this film without getting any cleaning stuff on the leather. Sticky film leaving tags should not be placed inside shoes Nordstrom!
