They are long enough and shaped well enough for my son to run and play ball. He does not seem to sweat more than usual in them as I know some materials can cause that. After two months the threading is still solid and secure. It also seems to work well around my sons shape as he is slender. The black is still dark and has not faded. Overall I really like these shorts for him and hope they can last for his younger sibling.
