Wanted to love, awkward length
I like the fit of these and would have kept them as a casual option at the NR price, but they are awkwardly short on my. I'm about 5'5" and they're too short to look right with boots. An inch longer and I would have kept them.

I have a barrel pair of jeans by Joe's in size 27, which I love so much and constantly get compliments on it. I bought these in 26 because the inseam is longer while the other pair is cropped. This is true to size, soft for something made of 98% cotton and fits me well (I am 5'2/120 lbs). IMO, cropped barrel looks better and 'cooler'. When the inseam is a 'normal' length, the jeans just look like tapered loose jeans. For my pair to work, I'd have to pull them down like low waisted jeans. I can make them work, but wish the wash was as dark as pictured. I will test my jeans with different tops before returning. These are good, but not an immediate 'yes' at the moment.
