Head West Mule (Women)

I was in the Nordstroms store shopping for some boots when I happened to stumble upon these heels & immediately thought it was giving Bella Hadid Core. Like western fantasy in shoe form. Tried them on with some wide leg jeans and I immediately closed the box and said YES. Size up - I always take a 7.5 in JC heels, but learned from the last JC mules I purchased to size up if you have a wide foot. The 8 fits like a dream and are perfect for city walking!!

I bought a size larger than I normally wear because they toe area is so pointy. I did that before with cowboy boots too and it is how I can comfortably wear them! The same applied on these ADORABLE very cute mules - the western detailing is so so cute with jeans and tiered skirts, and denim dresses! I'm so happy i bought them - while I won't be wearing them to walk home from the bus stop (I don't even ride the bus), they work fine for walking from the parking lot to my office and if I go out at night these are the ones I'll be grabbing. They don't seem like a 3" heel - they feel more like a 2.5" or 2" so there's that also. For once I'm thrilled with a pair of cute heels that I can actually wear!

This is the only review I have ever left— which is a testament to how horribly uncomfortable these shoes were for me. I bought them as a lower more “comfortable” heel and they were the most painful experience I have ever encountered with a shoe (and I often wear much higher heels for very long periods of time) Exactly like other reviewers mentioned, blisters on every part of both feet. I barely walked in these and considered leaving work to go home and change my shoes, that’s how unbearable they were. I ended up stopping at a store for bandaids, maybe 2hrs into wearing them, and multiple bandaids couldn’t even help at that point, the damage was done.

I purchased these to wear with my cowboy carter concert outfit. The style was perfect for the look I was going for plus the heel was extremely short which I thought would save me since I had floor seats and would be standing majority of the time. However, from the time I walked from my parking spot to my seat (15 minutes) I had several blisters on my feet. I had to wear socks only for the remainder of the concert (5 hours since I got there so early). I wish I would of read the reviews before purchasing as the evidence was right in front of my face. I will be returning these
