Wonderful Small Speaker
This is a wonderful small speaker! It has great balanced sound through the lows, mids, and highs. It's very crisp and clear. Stylish too. Very well constructed. Love the features and the App.

Turns off automatically
Keeps turning off automatically, sometimes after 3 hours, sometimes arter 5minutes.
I thought it's overheating issue, but also was playing outside at +10°C temperature - turned off after ~15min.
Firmware update/factory reset didn't sove the issue.
Never had this issue with GO2. It only turns off if I play music on max volume and charges it at the same time. GO4 turns off even the volume is ~60% and not charging.
By reading the forums, I see it's "global issue" and replacing by new one didn't solve the issue for other customers!

Thanks for your feedback. The published up-to playtime is the maximum battery time you will get when listening at background levels. As you turn up the volume, the playtime will be reduced, much like a phone battery when you brighten the screen. The same goes for source material. Music with more bass will also reduce playtime. It is possible that the battery is working correctly, but it depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Please try to charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. Go 4
For it's size the Go 4 produces excellent sound quality, used in the right settings, the sound volume is also good.
Dummy for buying a go 4

The charging cord is a joke and is so short it makes the overall unit seem very poor to average
jbl.com response
We've noted your comments about the charging cord's size, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we'll be sure to pass it along to our product and development team for future product enhancements.

Great!
Small and tidy, but packs a punch. Great sound quality in a pocket sided speaker. Highly recommend.
Little difficult to connect to a laptop, but can be done. You need to disable the "Use Floss instead of BlueZ" option in your laptop settings (was not easy to find in my Chromebook Plus settings).

Awesome little speaker!
I absolutely love it! I got two for the stereo sound and it’s amazing! It doesn’t have much bass but it has a lot of bass for its tiny size. Great product!
