Quality jeans
Soft material with plenty of stretch. Dark wash jeans for "dressier" occasions. Runs a little larger in the calves than expected for a slim fit jean.

Poor Quality Control
I used to be a huge fan of Mavi. Have 6 pairs total in my closet. Not sure if its just an issue with the ones that the Rack is selling or a general decrease in quality overall, but the last few pairs I've ordered -- this one included -- have a number of issues. First: sizing is incredibly inconsistent now. I used to wear 29 waist across the board, but now I've ordered 31s that fit smaller than all of the 29s that I currently have. On top of that, it looks like Mavi has started cutting even more corners: the last four pairs I've ordered from the Rack all came with lopsided front belt loops. Mavi's generally retail at $100 or more. At that price, regardless of the discount, I expect things to be symmetrical at the least. I'm not even complaining about loose threads here (of which there were plenty).

Inconsistent sizing
This pair of Jake’s was larger all around than the other two pair of Jake’s I’ve bought all 33x32–fit is more like a straight than slim, length and waist. Frustratingly, the Rack near me wouldn’t take them back because I exceeded the return window by 1 day.
