I was really hoping that given the product description and thread count I was getting a great deal but from the look and scratchy feel of the sheets, I don't think they are 1000 thread count. I am not likely to buy sheets from Nordstrom rack in the future.

High thread count and 100% does NOT mean quality
I bought these sheets specifically looking for a 100% cotton sheet set with a high thread count expecting that combination to equal quality sheets. These are not it. The material is thin and a little scratchy and feel cheap. I suppose the fact they were on sale for less than $100 should have alerted me to issues, but at the time I purchased there were no ratings. I would expect this quality from a $40 sheet set from Walmart, and I would return but I will just donate to save the hassle. If you are looking for something cheap, this set delivers. If you are looking for high quality, look elsewhere.

poor quality
I’m definitely disappointed in the quality of these sheets. They’re scratchy and they wrinkle up after just a couple of nights of sleeping in them. They definitely don’t feel like thousand count Egyptian cotton. I’m disappointed that Nordstrom rack would be selling these.
