Ileena Nappa Slide Sandal (Women)

These sandals are SO small! They are beautiful and well made, but way too small. The first time I ordered them, I purchased my normal size, which is a 9. When I got them my foot was hanging over a little, and didn’t fit in the depressed bed. So I exchanged them for a 9 1/2. Same thing! They fit the exact same way that the 9’s did. Very frustrating, especially because they are beautiful and well made. The leather is so soft.

I wanted to love this shoe, and I even bought one size up to accommodate its smaller sizing. The leather was soft, the olive green color rich, and the design unexpected. However, after 60 seconds of wearing this sandal I became distracted by the painful bite of the strap every time I pushed off the ball of my foot to walk. I resolved to break them in, but I couldn’t wear them more than 5 minutes before needing to alter my gait to lessen the discomfort. Sadly, they are going back.

Terrible quality, especially for the price. The leather started peeling off after the second wear. I contacted customer service and they said my only option was to return the shoes. My return wasn’t accepted. You’re better off buying the original Emme Parsons shoes so at least they’ll last.
