Ocean Waves Reversible 3-Piece Comforter Set

I bought this comforter set because it was on sale. The description noted it would be useful for all seasons, however it is very thin, and very lightweight. I just don't see how it will keep us warm in the cold New England winter nights. For now (August) it is a stylish addition to our room. I will let you know how it performs in January. It is a high quality item, and more than worth what I paid.

Ill start with the fact that I may have had my hopes to high for what the normal price is on this comforter, and the reputation of this company. This comforter is overall pretty nice, it's a lightweight and soft comforter. The filling is nice as far as I can tell and the size is good. I was a little concerned because the mattress we got my daughter is super thick, but it covers down to the frame which was a pleasant surprise. I have not yet washed it, but honestly a little afraid to. We have several threads hanging off the sides, and the stitching at the ends is kind of horrible looking. It works for my kids bedroom, but if this was for a guest bed I would probably have to say I'd return and get something else.
