Eau de Toilette for Men

One of my favorites used to be Hugo Boss EDT. I’ll never forget smelling it the first time. “That’s what a man is supposed to smell like.” I was able to score this for a low price, and all nostalgia aside, something is different. Sure I can smell the Granny Smith apples, the marine like hints, and the masculine shower gel. Unfortunately that’s about it, despite the lavender trying. This is a weak choice, as there’s no projection or sillage. In many ways it reminds me of Polo Black, in which the bottle is a tuxedo, but underneath it’s a off color leisure suit. I used to get a athletic, fresh vibe, now it’s the green apple for at most a few hours, and there’s the party. A shame as the bottle and atomizer are top notch. I can’t recommend this one. Sure it’s not pond scum scented, but I’m disappointed by this lackluster performance. There are far better options than this.
