Run deceptively large
These are awful. I am 5’3.5 and they are not remotely an ankle pant. Maybe if you’re 5’6 or taller. I have other 25 waist Hudson jeans that fit fine but these are terrible. There is no saving them. They would look way too bunched with a belt, and cannot be worn any lower and look right. I would recommend going at least one size down, maybe two.
