Only buy if you're not clumsy
I really loved the concept of this jean. After waffling for a couple of years on whether to spend the money, I decided to purchase my first pair of Hudson Jeans at full price. The fit, cut, pockets, and length were great, especially for my 6'1" mom bod. However, the actual FIRST time I slipped my left leg into the pant leg, my foot caught the distressed hole and stretched it out, making a trendy (but unnecessary) rip look like an actual tired and sad old pair of pants I'd wear while painting or something. I'm very disappointed there is not a non-distressed option in each of the jean cuts.

The jeans I’ve been looking for!
I have two pairs of the Nico’s b/c they fit amazingly. I’m 5’8”/160 and carry my weight in my butt and thighs. The are sliming in the legs, and the waist does not gap. Length is a little long if your are looking for a crop, but they can easily be hemmed. And they are super comfortable. Just the right amount of stretch, but not too stretch that they cling.

Lower rise than I’d like. True to size. Cute.
These are a great style and are comfortable, but the mid rise is a bit lower than I expected. Also, Hudson commonly runs large, so I sized down, but they ended up being too small. So, these seem more true to size. Returning due to small fit and low rise/waist.
