I love orange! I got this because of the color and it was on sale! This is just my 2nd Hoka and I was so disappointed! It came with a destructed box, not the original Hoka box. I was anxious upon seeing the box because it looks awful! The moment I opened the package, I wanted to return it right away. The shoe color is nice (orange) but the shoe looks cheap (& so is the box! The fabric used was thin and cheap. The sizing is off, it’s 1 size bigger than usual. So I suggest, order half size smaller. I should have followed my instinct! If it’s cheap, something is wrong!

Over the past 20+ years, I have found that sneakers have been the best choice for me for my work. Clogs were ok for standing, but my foot moved around inside too much while walking. The first thing I noticed is that this shoe is wider across the instep and heel compared to all other sneakers I have worn in this size. Wearing thick socks helps. The length is appropriate, so I did not try going down a size. My foot is not sliding around inside the shoe, but as I break it in, I should be able to lace the shoe a little more snugly. The thick outer sole of the shoe provides the support and shock absorption that I need. The sole feels like it is built to propel you forward while walking, so standing felt odd at first. I am on my feet at work for 10 hour shifts – both walking and standing. I have worn the shoes at work for a week now. My body is still adjusting. At the end of day one, I had more pain than usual in every joint from the waist down. The insole is too soft. I replaced the insole that came with the shoe after the first day. My feet, knees, and hips felt better after I replaced the insoles. My lower back still has pain at the end of my shift, but it's improving. I inserted the insole that I am used to which has a firmer structure for the heel cup and mid-sole under a cushioned layer. That has helped me feel better at work. The Cosmic Pearl/Galaxy color is a pretty soft pink. The outer design is quite busy.
