Excellent garment, but wrong fitting description
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hart Schaffner Marx creates wonderful mens attire for the price. If not for the misnomer in the description, the garment would garner five stars. The construction of this particular sport jacket is outstanding; however, it's not a "classic" fit by any means. The description should include the manufacturer's fitting label of "New York" which is a "trim fit". Their "Chicago" fit with lower arm holes and more room across the chest, could be consider a classic fit, but that'd be a dubious statement at best. Their definition of classic fit isn't the same as in Canali suits and jackets (my prefered garments to wear).
I did return the garment to the nearest Nordstrom (Twelve Oaks Mall, Novi, MI), and the service was so excellent I decided on a Canali suit instead. Thank you, Sales Associate Thomas!
