New York Classic Fit Solid Stretch Wool Suit

Chicago is a classic fit. The New York Fit is modern fit with raised armhole & slimmer sleeve. Complemented by a shorter jacket and narrow shoulder. Trousers on the 40R have a 7 inch drop, instead of a standard 6 inch, making them a 33 waist thus tighter. Larger sizes have the 6 inch drop.

I was hesitant purchasing a suit online. But knowing the Hart Shaffner Marx brand, I figured it was a safe risk. The price point for this one indicated to me that it has to be of good quality. It is 100% wool, but lightweight, so it should wear well over time. Sometimes heavy wood suits can "droop." Minor alterations were needed just on the inseam but he waist and jacket were true to size. You cannot go wrong with this suit.

It fit so well that the tailor only had to adjust the sleeves and pant length. No one is going to mistake it for a custom made full canvassed suit, but for the price it is well worth it.
