- Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean, white dry sponge or cloth. Appropriate rug pad is highly recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushion, and improve durability. Expect shedding. Vacuum regularly. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Vacuum full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion.

Great, high quality rug at a terrific price
When I saw this rug on clearance, I decided to take a chance on a better quality wool rug, instead of the polyester ones I normally buy and then discard when they are tired. The sale price for this rug is still more than I normally spend on one that is full price, but now that it has arrived I am so happy to have it. It is clearly a much better rug than I have had in the past, and the mottled pattern will keep it from looking too worn or tired. We have a dog and so even with frequent vacuuming it can be challenging to keep the rug looking fresh. Not a problem with this rug! Warm colors, great quality, and excellent communication from Norstrom Rack throughout the process.
