Good Petite Straight Leg Jeans

I have never been more satisfied with a pair of jeans. As someone who is petite — and it’s been extremely difficult to find the perfect jeans for my figure practically all of my adult life. Perfect fit right out of the package. I cannot believe this! I hope you make a darker wash someday soon in this fit. If so, I’ll be ordering.

I am 5’2” 115 lbs, ordered size 2/26 petite. The con is HUGE but not exclusive to this brand. The inseam is too long for petites to have the same look as the model on the Nordstrom website. Instead the length is awkward and still requires tailoring which is BEYOND frustrating. The length hits at a point where the front bends on your sneakers and not slightly cropped like the models leaving you looking like you are wearing regular length crop jeans or ugly high-waters…just odd all the way around. Why do designers do this to petites? Please designers MEASURE petites’ inseams that are 5’-5’4” and find an average inseam length that works for all to look decent. A 25.5” inseam for a “slightly cropped look” is not working that is a great length for 5’4” only so NOT inclusive. Like the waistband and the zipper does not add extra bulk to your tummy. Despite the pros it is not worth keeping them and taking them for expensive tailoring which never looks great with jeans even when they save the hem.

I preserved these petite jeans because they were a 25.5 inseam and wanted that straight crop look as a 5’4” woman. What arrived was a 10P bootcut Jean with an inseam of 29”. The labels all say the right thing but the garment itself doesn’t match. While this was weird, I am keeping them because I love a great bootcut jean and I have to get all my denim custom hemmed to 29” anyway. Now I don’t have to. Curious to see if anyone else encounters this issue. The first is typical of the brand. Some stretch, great wash color and true to size. I am athletic build with a thick booty and they look great.
